Clinical Governance and performance feedback for Doctors - 360 Clinical UK

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has validated a colleague multi-source feedback questionnaire (MSF) and patient survey (PS) for career-grade doctors of all specialties.

The development of the 2 questionnaires involved consultation with many consultants, patients and co-workers who form the group of assessors for each MSF process.

977 career-grade doctors were recruited for the pilot from across many NHS Trusts and PCTs in England and Scotland. The specialties represented in the pilot are shown in the table below.

The pilot used the 360 Clinical Ltd’s electronic administration system to process the results. Analysis of the anonymised results was then undertaken to prove reliability and validity.

The RCP and 360 Clinical Ltd are now collaborating to offer an electronic system with validated questionnaires that maybe used for all specialties.

The cost is £89.50+VAT(£105.16) for the MSF and the Patient Survey together, or £74.50+VAT(£87.53) for the MSF alone.
